Surgical and prosthodontic treatment alternatives for children and adolescents with ectodermal dysplasia: A clinical report☆☆☆★★★

Abstract 

Ectodermal dysplasia with oligodontia and anodontia is characterized by absence or deficiency of the alveolar ridges. The optimal surgical and prosthetic approach varies in relation to patient age and the amount of bone that is present. This clinical report presents rehabilitation alternatives for ectodermal dysplasia in children and adolescents. (J Prosthet Dent 2002;88:569-72.)
